Analytics

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager start when you open the site. A notice on the first visit explains that, and Okay only dismisses the notice. The choice is stored in this browser and applies on later visits until you change it here.

What is measured

While analytics is on, the site can record pages you open, homepage sections that come into view, project sections you reach, and clicks on navigation, certificates, project links, and Upwork. There is no public contact form, so no message body is collected.

Upwork

Hire links leave this site and open Upwork. Upwork handles that visit under its own policies. A click that sends you there is counted here only as the click itself.

Admin sign-in

The private admin area uses its own session cookie so an editor can stay signed in. That cookie is separate from analytics, and admin pages are not part of the public measurement.

Analytics settings

Analytics stays on until you turn it off here. Turning it off reloads the page and blocks the analytics tags on later visits. You can turn it back on from this page.
